Changing Your Password

The password you use to log in is governed by rules that your administrator sets. These rules determine details like how often you need to change your password, how many characters the password must contain, and what types of characters are valid characters.

If your organization uses Active Directory or another implementation of Single Signon, you may not need to sign in to PPM.

Note: This topic explains how to change your password after you log into PPM. For help on changing your password from the PPM Login page, see Editing Your User Settings.

To change your Password:

  1. Click your user icon at the top of the PPM window and click Change Password. The Change Password window displays.
Note: Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
  1. Type your current password in the Old Password text box.
  2. Type a new password in the New Password text box.
  3. Retype the new password in the Confirm text box.
  4. Click Save to save your new password and close the Change Password window.
You need to use the new password the next time you log in to PPM.
