Enterprise users with appropriate permissions can export timesheet
task data in Microsoft Excel format.
Important:
Timesheet data can be impacted by billing rate values. For more information,
see About Billing Rates.
Note: Selections
you make during an export are retained and will be the defaults the next
time you export timesheets.
To Export Timesheets:
- On the Timesheets tab,
click Export Timesheets.
The Export Timesheets wizard opens in a new window.
- Choose export parameters:
- Type in
the start and end dates for timesheet data, or click the calendar icons
and select the dates from the pop-up calendar.
- Choose the
resources whose timesheet information you want to export:
- To specify resources
by name, click Select Resource by name,
click Browse Member Directory
and select the resources whose timesheet data you want to export.
- To choose resources
by Project, click Select Resource by
Workspace and click the Projects whose member timesheet information
you want to export.
- Click Next Step to continue, or Cancel
to close the wizard without exporting timesheet data.
- Select data fields:
- On the Select data
fields tab, select the data fields you want to export, then click Next Step to continue, Previous
Step to go back in the wizard, or Cancel
to close the wizard without exporting any timesheet data.
Fields include: , , , , , , , , ,
- Order the Excel columns:
- Fields from top
to bottom on the list appear as columns from left to right in Excel.
- Group and sort:
- Select a data field
to sort on from the Sort work entries
by list and select a sorting order.
- To group timesheet
data, select a data field from the Group
work entries by list and select a grouping order.
- Click Finish
and Export to export the timesheet data, Previous
Step to go back in the wizard, or Cancel
to close the wizard without exporting timesheet data.
