Project managers and users with a number of tasks they need to update can use the workspace-level Tasks application
and the Selection menu to apply a pre-set update to the selected task(s).
Bulk updates are limited to specifying how close tasks are to being finished.
In contrast, task assignees can update individual tasks and specify the number of hours they have worked, as well as actual start and finish dates. For more information, see Updating Tasks in the Task List.
Note: Project managers can also edit multiple tasks in bulk using the Task List. See (opens in popup window).
To update tasks in bulk:

- On the Project Menu, click
Tasks, and Task List.
- Select the tasks you want
to update by clicking in the task row for each task. Hold the CTRL key down to select multiple tasks.
Note: A colored circle indicates the .
- Click Selection, then select the update you want to perform.
The options
you see depend on the way your organization tracks task progress. This is determined by the configuration set by your administrator. For details, see Editing Timesheet Properties.
- If ETC is enabled,
options include:
- Mark As Complete(sets % Complete to 100)
- Mark as On Hold,
- Mark
as Not on Hold (changes task status from On Hold to the appropriate status (In Progress or Overdue for example)).
- If % Complete is
enabled (ETC is disabled), options include:
- Mark
as Not Started (0%)
- Mark as In Progress
(25% / 50% / 75%)
- Mark as Complete (100%)
- Mark as On Hold
