Editing Global Nonworking Time

Administrators can edit existing global nonworking time to modify how that time impacts the calendars to which is is assigned.

To edit global nonworking time:

  1. On the Administration Home page, under Enterprise Settings, click Workweek Calendar.
    A list of workweek calendars displays.
  2. From the views toolbar, click Global Nonworking Time to open the Global Nonworking Time page.
    The page is in the format of a calendar open to the current month.
  1. Click the name of the nonworking time you want to edit.

The Global Nonworking Time window opens. 

  1. From the Actions drop down select Edit Global Nonworking Time

    The
    Edit Global Nonworking Time window opens.
    Note:
    Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
  2. To change the name of the nonworking time, type the new name in the Nonworking Time Name box.
  3. To change the start date for the nonworking time, type the new Start Date, or click the calendar icon to select the new start date.
  4. To change the end date for the nonworking time, type the new End Date, or click the calendar icon to select the new end date.
  5. To change the number of hours per day for the nonworking time, select the new length from the Hours per day menu.
  6. To change which calendars are affected by the nonworking time, click the edit icon next to the Workweek Calendar(s) Affected box and select the calendars you want the nonworking time to impact.
  7. When you are done editing the global nonworking time, click Save & Close to save the changes to the global nonworking time, or Cancel to discard the changes and leave the nonworking time unchanged.
