Dependency Type

Add a dependency type by specifying SS (start-to-start) or FF (finish-to-finish). The default dependency (FS - finish-to-start) is assumed if nothing is indicated and does not display even if you include it explicitly.

To specify a non-default dependency, type that immediately after the task number:

Lag and Lead Time

You can include a Lag (delay) or Lead (overlap) time for the dependency. Lag time is shown with positive numbers. Lead time is shown with negative numbers:

11FF+1

means that task 11 must finished before the current task can finish, and there is a 1 day lag after task 11 finishes before the current task can finish.

8-1

means there is a finish-to-start dependency (the default) between task 8 and the current task, and that 1 day before task 8 finishes, the current task will start.
