About Queue Mode

Queue Mode gives users the ability to manually order workspaces in a custom view, allowing for easy prioritization and management from within the custom view.

Queue Mode is supported in the global Projects and Requests applications and in any portfolio tabs your organization may have created.

Note: In queue mode, you define an initial sort which is valid until you rank view items by changing their ranking. Once you rank items in the view, ordering is determined by item rank and column headers do not work for sorting. Queued views cannot be grouped, so grouping and calculation options in the Custom View wizard are disabled. In a shared queued view (created by an administrator), once any user with reorder capability changes the order of the items, the ability to sort the view is disabled.

If you were given the ability to change the order of items in the queue, the Rank column is editable and you can reorder workspaces by dragging and dropping them in a new location or by changing their rank number. For more information, see Reordering a Queue View. (Note: The ability to reorder items in a queued view is given by the administrator when creating or editing the view. For details, see Custom View Wizard - Grouping.)

Important: Because the workspaces visible to you are determined by your permissions for those workspaces, your queue may include different workspaces than someone else's queue view of workspaces (a subset or superset).
