Custom views for global applications appear as options on the More Views menu of the Tab Toolbar.
If you do not see options to Create New View and Edit Current View you do not have the necessary permissions to create and modify personal custom views.

Note: You can also create custom views for dynamic applications in workspaces. These views are similar to custom views found on global applications, but their management (where to find views and links to add, edit and delete them) differs somewhat. For more information, see Managing Dynamic Application Views in Workspaces.
