Managing Dynamic Application Custom Views in Workspaces
|
Note: This topic discusses custom views for dynamic applications within workspaces. For information about custom views for global applications, see Customizing Global Application Views.
The custom views you create for dynamic applications in workspaces are similar to those you create for global applications, but you manage these views differently.
Custom views for dynamic applications and options for managing them appear under the application name on the Workspace Menu.
- Default Views—Two default view options always appear:
- <Application Item> List
- Folder View
Note:The <Application Item> List view is a unique type of view that supports in-line editing and is customizable in different ways than other custom views. In the above example this option shows as Discrepancy List. For more information, see Using the Dynamic Application Item List.
- Add a View—To create a custom view, click Add Custom View. Custom views appear at the bottom of the list of views, separated from view actions by a horizontal line. If you do not see the Add option, you do not have permission to create views for the application. For more information, see Adding Custom Views to Dynamic Applications in a Workspace.
- Edit a View—If you select a view and have permission to edit it (usually a view you created), the Edit Current View option displays.
- Delete a View—If you select a view and have permission to delete it (a view you created, or one shared to you as a use), the Delete Current View option displays.
