The PPM Reports application allows you to create reports using virtually any data from within your PPM enterprise. To create reports using PPM Reports a user must be licensed either as a Query Studio Author or a Report Studio Author. For more details, see Licensing Information Overview.
Access to the Reports application is based on enterprise role. By default users with enterprise roles of Administrator, Executive, Resource Manager and Project Manager have access to the Reports application. If you do not see the Reports tab, you may not have adequate permissions to do so. Note: This does not necessarily mean you cannot view reports (you may be able to include the Report Viewer in a Dashboard pane, for example).
Query Studio reports are created using the Query Studio tool and can be simple queries to answer immediate questions or more complicated reports that users will want to run over and over.
Report Studio reports are created using the Report Studio and can be more complicated than reports built in Query Studio. Report Studio reports can be shared, emailed and used in dashboards.
