The Resource Allocations section of the Resource Allocations view gives resource managers visibility into how their resources are allocated. It also gives them the ability to reallocate or decline an approved allocation, if availability or needs change.
The lower section of the Team Manager Resource Allocations view lists all the resources for which the resource manager is responsible, along with any allocations for which they have been approved, and any global and personal nonworking time that applies to their calendar.
Use the Show filter to limit the display to resources you manage, supervise or both. You can also use it to limit resource types of the resources you manage.
The Resource Allocations section of Team Manager also shows any applicable global and personal nonworking time for each user. PPM administrators add global nonworking time. Resource managers and supervisors can add personal nonworking time from Team Manager. For more information, see About Personal Nonworking Time.
To view resource utilization from the Resource Allocations section, click the workspace name of a resource allocation. The Resource Utilization by Resource window opens. For details about the Resource Utilization by Resource window, see Resource Utilization by Resource in Team Manager.
