Workspace Template Permissions Overview

In order to create or manage workspace templates, you need specific permissions.

Template Permissions

Creating Templates—Enterprise users with the Create Templates permission can create templates from existing projects.

By default, users with an enterprise role of Project Manager, Resource Manager, Executive, or Administrator have this permission.

Create a template from within a project. For more information, see Creating a Workspace Template.

Managing Templates—Enterprise users with the Manage Templates permissionhave access to the Templates application and can create workspaces from existing templates.

By default, users with an enterprise role of Project Manager, Resource Manager, Executive, or Administrator have this permission.

Manage templates from the Templates application:

View a list of existing templates by clicking the Templates tab.
Create a new workspace from a template. For more information, see Creating a Workspace From a Template.
Delete an existing template. For more information, see Deleting a Workspace Template.
