Using the Global Calendar
|
The global Calendar application is a cross-project calendar
that gives you quick access to all your appointments and tasks, for all
of your projects. From the Calendar, you can view and update appointments
and tasks assigned to you. You can view the Calendar in a Month View (the
default), or a Day View.
TO use the global Calendar:
- .
The Calendar screen displays.
Note: If you do not see the tab, it may be hidden, or you may
not have permissions to use the global Calendar. For details about the
global application tabs and how to customize them, see Using
Global Tabs.
- By default the Calendar
displays in Month View. You can
change this view to Day View by
choosing More Views on the tab
toolbar.
- By default the Calendar
shows both your appointments and tasks for all projects to which you
are assigned. You can restrict the view if necessary:
- To hide tasks, appointments or nonworking time, clear the box(es) for the items you do not want to see.
- To view items for only one project, select the project from the Project list. (If you are a member
of only one project, only one project is listed).
- To view details of a task, appointment or nonworking time, click the item name. Depending on the type of item and your permissions, you may have the option to edit the details.
For information about adding appointments, see Adding
an Appointment.
