Bulk Editing Items in the Item List

You can edit application items in bulk in the Item List for dynamic applications in workspaces. By selecting multiple items and opening the Bulk Edit pane, you can quickly change values for all selected items (for which you have edit permission).

Note: There is a maximum number of items you can select for bulk actions. For more information, see About the Item List Selection Maximum.

Open the Bulk Edit pane:

To open the Bulk Edit pane, select multiple items in the list (Ctrl-click or Shift-click), then do one of the following:

Right-click to open the context-menu, and click Edit.

Click Selection and Edit:

Data displayed in the Bulk Edit pane follows these rules:

When data in a field is identical in all selected records, the data is displayed (Estimated Cost above).
When data in a field contains differs between selected records, the field displays Multiple (Impact - number of days and Impact - cost above).
Each editable field includes a box next to the field name.
Selecting this box indicates that the field contents should be updated in all selected items when the Bulk Edit pane is saved.
Changing the content of a field automatically selects the box.
Clearing this box (after selecting it or changing a field value) cancels any change to the field (no update is done to the selected items), though any changes you made to the value does not revert until after you click Save.
When a field cannot be edited (a system-generated or calculated field, for example), the field displays as read-only and cannot be selected (Impact - cost above).

If you select multiple items and do not have edit permission for any of them, a message displays, telling you that you do not have edit permission for the selected items.
