Viewing Timesheets as an Approver

 

When it is your turn to approve a timesheet, the timesheet is added to your Timesheets Pending My Approval list in the Timesheets application.

Note: When a timesheet is pending your approval you should take action on it quickly. Any delay may cause further delays if the approval policy requires that approval be done by approvers in a specific order.

To view Timesheets pending your approval:

  1. Open the Timesheets application.
    By default your current timesheet displays so you can update the time your worked. You can change the default Timesheets view. For more information, see Changing the Default Timesheets View.
  2. Click More Views on the tab toolbar, then Timesheets Pending My Approval.
    Note:
    If this option is only available if you are a timesheet approver as defined in the Timesheet Approval Policy created by your administrator.

  3. Use the Actions icon to take action on a timesheet:

    The actions available to you depend on your role and permissions. If you are not an approver of a timesheet, you will not have the option to approve, decline, or reopen a timesheet.
  1. To open the timesheet details, click the time period of a timesheet.
    The timesheet details open in a new window.
    If you have approver status for the timesheet you open, the details open in edit view and you can update the entries. Note: Only tasks with work charged against them are shown.
