If you are assigned as a resource manager or supervisor for at least one user, you can use
view timesheets for those resources you
manage or supervise.
Note: If you are
a project manager you can view the timesheets
of your project's members. For more information, see Managing
Timesheets as a Project Manager.
To view Timesheets for resources you manage:
- .
- Click More
Views on the tab toolbar, then Timesheets
by Resource.
Note: The option only displays if you are assigned as a resource manager or supervisor for at least one user.
The timesheets display for the resources you manage.
- The default view of Timesheets by Resource includes timesheets
for the current time period and the last 2 time periods. You can filter the view to specify what the display shows.
- To select a different
time period, type a start and end date in the Start
and End boxes, or click the calendar
icons to select start and end dates.
- To filter the view
based on users:
- To view timesheets
for all the users you supervise, select All
supervised users.
Supervised users are those users for whom you are listed as Supervisor in their user profile. This assignment is made by the enterprise administrator.
- To view timesheets
for those resources you manage, select All
resources I manage.
Resources you manage are those users for whom you are listed as Resource Manager in their user profile. This assignment is made by the enterprise administrator.
Note: By default only enterprise users with an enterprise role of Resource Manager, Executive or Administrator can be a Resource Manager.
- To manually select
users whose timesheets you want to view, select Manually
and click Select Resources to
open the User Selector. The User Selector lists all users for which you
are a supervisor or a resource manager. For more information on the User
Selector, see Using the User Selector.
- To view only timesheets
with a specific status, clear the selection box for any status you do
not want to see.
When you are done making your selections, click Go
to display the filtered view.
Note: The filter selections you make stay active until you make
new filter selections.
- Use the Actions icon to take action on a timesheet. For more information, see Managing Timesheets as a Resource Manager.
:Note: The actions available to you depend on your role and permissions.
- To open the details of
a timesheet, click the time period of a timesheet.
The timesheet details open in a new window.
If the timesheet is open, declined, or overdue, the details open in
edit view so you can update the entries.
If the timesheet is pending your approval, the details open in edit
view so you can update the entries.
